  • Honda Passport: Production components mirror those of Odyssey, along with the Honda Pilot.
  • Acura MDX: Vehicle production is in East Liberty, OH, Engine production occurs in Anna, OH, and transmission production is based in Tallapoosa, GA.
  • Acura RDX: This vehicle’s components are produced in the same location as those of the MDX.
  • Honda Accord and Acura Integra: Both vehicles are produced in Marysville OH, with engine production occurring in Anna, Ohio and transmission production occurring in Russel’s Point, OH.

Honda Production is Not New to the United States

Since 1959, Honda has been in operation here in the US. Nearly two thirds of Honda and Acura vehicles were made in the US in 2024 using domestic and globally made parts, which is the second highest percentage of any full-line auto maker. There are eight automobile and engine plants operating in the US with locations in Ohio, Alabama, Indiana, and Georgia. Since its inception over the last 40 years, Honda has produced over 30,000,000 cars and light trucks in the US. Finally, in 2024 Honda purchased over $30.6 billion from US suppliers to produce Honda and Acura vehicles.

Honda Doesn’t Stop with Automobiles

Honda today employs about 30,000 people in America. These associates are actively engaged in the development, manufacturing, sales, and support services of not only Honda and Acura vehicles, but also Honda powersports, Honda power equipment and the HondaJet advanced light jet. Overall, Honda operates 12 major US manufacturing facilities, and they work with about 620 US suppliers to produce many different Honda products. Honda also operates 23 facilities in the US dedicated to Research and Development of Honda products.
